Camera Moda Fashion Trust: 2022 Grants awarded

A special evening for the winning designers of the 2022 Grants, who thanks to their innovative projects will now be able to count on the support of the non-profit organization Camera Moda Fashion Trust to launch and grow their business 70 nominations were screened by a jury chaired by Carlo Capasa and composed of co-chairs Warly Tomei and Umberta Gnutti Beretta, and other authoritative figures, including journalists, venture capitalists, buyers, CEOs of the fashion world (photo above).

Creative merit, a project to use the financial support provided by the Camera Moda Fashion Trus t and attention to “sustainability”, these are some of the main criteria used in choosing the beneficiaries of this second edition.

Award to the winners, a development path of their brand thanks to the consultancy organized by the non-profit foundation Fashion Trust , which since 2017 has been collaborating with the most influential companies in the fashion system.

The designers will be supported in their path of growth and expansion and will be able to count on a program of financial support , business mentoring and one-to-one tutoring to launch and grow their business.

This year the grants were made possible by the donations of Scalapay , the Italian Fin-Tech leader for Southern Europe in the Buy Now Pay Later market, and of MAX & Co. , who have chosen to support Camera Moda Fashion Trust free of charge in mentoring with two projects reserved for independent talents.

ACT N ° 1 will receive a financial contribution of 40 thousand euros thanks to the Scalapay donation; same amount, offered by Camera Moda Fashion Trust, for Vitelli. In Cormio, instead, 15 thousand euros are donated by Max & Co.

Furthermore, Scalapay, as part of its Young Design Program , will support ACT N ° 1, Cormio and Vitelli, offering integration within the Scalapay platform at no cost for one year and a tutorship program in the areas of tech and e-commerce.

MAX & Co., Will support Cormio by offering the possibility of starting an exclusive collaboration with the brand that will involve the creation of a capsule collection FW23-24 produced and distributed in the MAX & Co stores.

Promoting and supporting the new generation of independent Made in Italy brands has always been the goal of Camera Moda Fashion Trust. And through the assignment of annual grants, his commitment to support the most creative and deserving minds of the current Italian fashion scene is realized.
